Who We Are

Redwood Creek Summer Camp is a fun and exciting week-long camp where children (ages 9-15) get the chance to swim, rappel, drive go-karts, sleep under the stars, and experience the great outdoors.

RCSC is a Christian camp operated by Seventh-day Adventists. Our purpose is to provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn about Jesus; therefore, children of any race or belief system are welcome to attend.

We serve the Redwood region – The North Coast and beyond.

We are accredited with the American Camp Association. All staff are required to complete background checks and special training in order to fill their positions.

Background

Over 75 Years of Camp

One of the longest operating Adventist camps in the world, Redwood Creek Camp started in the late 1930’s on land owned by Oliver Cookson. The camp has continued at the Cookson Ranch almost every summer since then. Oliver loved children and wanted to share the love of God through the beauty of nature. One of the first Redwood Creek Camp’s Directors was Eric B. Hare, noted missionary and storyteller.
